Making the right choice when it comes to which sector or profile to choose, and what kind of further course a pupil may opt for is of great importance. The school dean at Kandinsky College therefore works closely with mentors, to assist pupils in making the correct choice when it comes to choosing further education after secondary school.

During the second year of MAVO/HAVO the mentor, working alongside the dean, will give general advice on which direction a pupil should go in. In the third year Kandinsky pupils will receive LOB-guidance through dedecaan.net. This is a web based program with diverse tests to discover pupils’ aptitude, desires and the possibilities which lie ahead for them. It aims to steer them into the world of further education and their ultimately their future job. In the fourth, fifth and sixth year pupils at Kandinsky College are encouraged, by their mentors, to take responsibility for planning their next steps in their future study by attending open days and information seminars.
